Houston Chronicle: Bush Foundation wants Air Force One displayed in College Station

The George and Barbara Bush Foundation has asked that the late president’s library and museum at Texas A&M University become the permanent home of the Air Force One plane that once transported Bush around the world.

The College Station-based foundation wants to display one of two Boeing VC-25A planes, to be retired in 2025, on the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum’s 90-acre grounds, president and CEO David Jones said.
