Hosted by: The George & Barbara Bush Foundation
Location: United States Institute of Peace, Carlucci Auditorium | 2301 Constitution Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20037

First Lady Barbara Bush famously gave advice to just about everyone she met, and after she passed in 2018, longtime Bush family aide Jean Becker worked with the publishing team at Twelve to edit and narrate a compilation of that wisdom with the help of Mrs. Bush’s family and those who knew her best.
Please join us for a special evening at the United States Institute of Peace as we celebrate the release of “Pearls of Wisdom: Little Pieces of Advice (That Go a Long Way)” together with Jean and members of the Bush family, who will discuss this insightful, endearing collection and its remarkable author. The group will also sign books afterwards in the USIP’s Barbara Bush Atrium. Copies of “Pearls of Wisdom” will be available for purchase during the reception.
All of the author’s proceeds from this special book will benefit the Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy.

Registration is required. Please RSVP by Monday, March 2.
