Acclaimed author and historian Mark K. Updegrove, head of the LBJ Foundation and presidential historian for ABC News, offers an illuminating account of John F. Kennedy’s brief but transformative tenure in the White House.

In this deeply researched, dramatic, and compelling narrative, Updegrove challenges conventional wisdom, revealing a JFK rarely seen. Updegrove has interviewed seven US presidents, and as the president & CEO of the Lyndon B. Johnson Foundation, ABC News’ presidential historian, and former director of the LBJ Presidential Library and publisher of Newsweek, is in a unique position to deliver this comprehensive, authoritative look at Kennedy’s consequential presidency.
